This wouldn't normally class as a "development note", but I want to be transparent and reflect on the future of this site.
Here is a roadmap for current additions I am hashing and re-hashing...
1- Personal "Travel" page
1A- Various node types for any of: received post cards, travel photo albums, on-location vlogging, interviews abroad
1B- Travel view page for presenting and aggregating all that content
2- Quasi-lifehacking "Progress" page
2A- Node types for: bucket list items, short- intermediate- and long- term goals, on-going projects, events
2B- Determine what attributes these nodes need to have; off the top of my head, I can brainstorm: name, deadline(if applicable), status("open" "almost done" "completed"), subject tags("film" "academic" "personal finance"), etc.
2C- Crazy and insane view pages that will sort and present all the items by the various attributes(i.e. by type, projects separate from goals, or by status, ongoing vs completed, or alphabetical, or by subject).
3- Additional CSS styling and theming to format and improve appreance of the site
3A- For example, this list should be a stylish bulleted list and not unformatted text.
3B- Filmography view page needs to be themed--right now it is simply outputting all the attributes unformatted.
4- Comments, RSS, and other interactivity
Here is a separate content to-do list:
Z- Copy for my bio
Y- Upload documents for writing portfolio
X- Produce more shit for existing view pages
In short, I want to 1) have a travel page up before I leave for Greece, 2) have a quasi-lifehacking, project management, Getting Things Done(R) view page completed ASAP so that it isn't necessary to write up absurdly long posts like this, 3) continue to improve the appearance of the site, 4) maybe or maybe not allow comments, and ZYX) deliver new content.
